Founder of Beyond the Ladder and a clinical operations executive who spent two decades building other people’s machines, and now helps experienced professionals build something of their own.
For over 20 years, I built my career in clinical operations across pharma, biotech, and CRO environments. I worked hard, delivered results, and, like many of us, tied my identity to being capable, dependable, and always willing to carry more.
For a long time, that worked. But I realized something that changed everything: many of us were taught how to survive inside systems, never how to build leverage outside of them. Our expertise was real, but quietly tethered to one employer’s willingness to keep choosing us.
Beyond the Ladder is the answer I went looking for and couldn’t find, a grounded place to turn hard-won expertise into confidence, visibility, and ownership. Not by burning it all down. By building, intentionally, from everything you already are.
